The following are two of the best cold and flu cures I have come across. Both will get you up and going again within a day or two depending on how bad your cold is.
1. Baking Soda
The humble baking soda or sodium bicarbonate is a brilliant and effective cure for colds. I find when I take it my mind becomes clearer and any fever goes.
Dosage is 1/2 teaspoon in cold water.
Day 1 - take this mixture seven times a day
Day 2 - take this mixture four times a day
Day 3 - take this mixture twice a day
Day 4 and all subsequent days - take this mixture once a day until your symptoms have gone.
2. Onion and Honey Syrup
Onion and honey syrup is wonderful for stopping nasal drip. Wiping and blowing your nose is unpleasant and annoying for everybody. Taking this syrup regularly throughout your day will stop nasal drip very quickly.
Recipe - In a glass or ceramic bowl put one minced or finely chopped onion. Add two tablespoons of honey. Leave overnight or for at least eight hours until a syrup forms in the bowl.
Dosage is a teaspoon (or a tablespoon if you want more) of syrup at regular intervals during the day for as long as your cold persists.
I hope you try these easy remedies and get back on your feet.
